Compare price, features, and reviews of the software side-by-side to make the best choice for your business. * (Although this uses invisible gifs, is a bit tacky, probably contravenes GDPR and no longer works with most corporate emails) I get about 900 emails a week, and sanebox keeps most of them out the way, whilst sparks ‘Remind me’ feature and interface work well. Polymail and Airmail I’ve heard mixed things about, but haven’t tried them yet.įor now I’m going to use Spark and keep sanebox running. ![]() You can file, snooze or reply with simple gestures. The only thing it doesn’t do that newton does is ‘read receipts’, but they’re becoming less effective anyway*. Great interface, and some nice extras like one click replies and team collaboration. It’s from a really successful company, and with 1m users, it should have longevity. Spark Spark is a great app, it’s also free for one user. What I do use apple mail for is alerts for specific threads (I need this cos I only check email occasionally). Search is works well, UI is nice, but it’s not super slick for fast email filing. So snoozing emails, and deferring them works will, with any client.Īpple mail is ok. Sanebox will keep you sane - it adds automatic filtering of mail, an email digest, and also snooze folders - emails re-appear when you’ve set them to. And that for me is easily the best client. UPDATE - August 2019 - Newton is back online again. However there are some great alternatives out there: Great fast search - this for me was the best bit of Newton. Remind me if no-one replies to a mail - this is super useful Read receipts - tells you if an mail has been read* Sadly Newton just announced they’re closing down - this has been my email client of choice for the past year. Newton did some great stuff, the key wins for me were I work on an iPad and MacBook, so need a fast client that works on both of these, and looks nice. I turn off all alerts, and check it about 6 times a day. This way it’s much less interrupting than things like slack or WhatsApp. Whilst I am a complete evangelist for not using email for anything that will have long term importance, its still really useful. 83 manage communication more efficiently 82 improve communication with customers and clients 42 average improvement in team efficiency Try Polymail today Try Polymail free for 7 days and see what its like to love email. ![]()
